Recipe for Deception (Bravo) – Starts 21st January
Another cooking competition makes an appearance, and to try and make it it different from the others already out there, this one includes lying.
Two chefs go up against each other then are told about a secret ingredient that will be given to their opposition, the opposing chef then gets to ask 3 questions, one of which the chef can lie about.
That’s about it. The secret ingredient reveal doesn’t do much in way of messing up their dish, even if they don’t know what it is. It’s almost as if they’re professional or at the very least have a modicum of adaptability.
Other than that there’s two rounds leading up to a final where the winning chef could win $10k. Or a little bit less if they agree to split the winnings with one of the losers, who have the chance to ask one question about the final round mystery addition and then barter a percentage in return for the info.
It’s just a run-of-the-mill boring cooking comp with a pointless twist.
