The New Yorker Presents (Amazon) – Starts 15th Jan – Renewed (Ordered to series)
The New Yorker magazine has it’s first attempt at making a tv show and they’ve done it in the style of a magazine, they even open up with a contents page.
The show is split into a short comedic piece, an interview with an artist, a documentary and finishing off with a bit of poetry. There are also a couple of single pane cartoons interspersed.
It’s has more than a few things in common with HitRECord, though with less crowd sourced material and more of a middle class coffee table focus.
